‘A magnificent place’

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Patron

Grassland, wooded valleys, gorse scrub, water meadows, large ponds, badgers, deer, foxes, buzzards….Magdalen is an organic wildlife wonderland set on the Dorset/Somerset border with stunning views across the Axe Valley. It follows that at the core of Magdalen’s vision is the need to sustain this landscape. With their photo-voltaic cells, composting toilets and mass recycling you’d be hard pushed to find a greener or more pleasant land than that which makes up the Magdalen Project! All Master Class days are inclusive of a hearty organic lunch fresh from Magdalen soil and refreshments throughout the day.
